During the severe storms wreaking havoc across the UK, Clarity emerged as the lifeline for UK Power Networks.
As a leading distribution network operator for electricity, their infrastructure faced significant disruptions during storms like David in January 2018 and Arwen in September 2020.
During Storm David, which ravaged the South-East Coast, Clarity sprang into action to secure over 300 last-minute rooms for families left without power across key areas like Bury St Edmunds, Norwich, Ipswich, and Cambridge. Then, when Storm Arwen struck the East of England, leaving numerous properties in darkness, Clarity's task was to find over 150 rooms per night for emergency workers racing to restore power to the affected regions.
The success of these missions was evident in the tangible outcomes achieved:
In the face of large-scale power outages, the need for temporary accommodation becomes paramount. Whether it's finding shelter for affected families or facilitating the movement of emergency workers, Clarity's conferencing and groups team excels at sourcing accommodation at a moment's notice, ensuring no one is left stranded in times of crisis.
